A Musical Journey
Born in Vienna to a family of musicians, Bernadette König began her musical education at the age of five. By twelve, she was accepted into the prestigious Vienna Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of Maestro Gustav Lehmann.
Today, Bernadette is celebrated as one of the most expressive and technically brilliant cellists of her generation, with performances that seamlessly blend classical precision with contemporary sensibility.

2025 - Solo Debut at Carnegie Hall
Performed Dvořák's Cello Concerto to critical acclaim with the New York Philharmonic under the baton of Maestro Andris Nelsons.

Received the prestigious ECHO Klassik Award for "Best Instrumentalist of the Year" for her album "Bach: The Cello Suites."
2021 - Deutsche Grammophon Recording
Signed exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon, releasing her debut album "Nocturnes."
2018 - Juilliard Graduation
Graduated with honors from The Juilliard School, where she studied with celebrated cellist Joel Krosnick.
